# Remove a section constraint

Use this endpoint when a section constraint should stop applying before the next data sync, for example a reserved-seat rule loaded against the wrong section. Remove the row from your data sync too, or the next sync recreates the constraint.

#### What happens after the call

* The constraint and its copy of the requirement group's rules are deleted right away, and its `{sis_id}` can be reused.
* The next seat-availability check no longer applies it.

#### Notes

* **A second `DELETE` returns 404.** If "already gone" is fine for your workflow, treat that 404 as success.
